QTL in Action

Trendlines must be the staple of every trader`s diet. The problem is that trendlines can be drawn in so many incorrect ways. Drawing it incorrectly can make every trade a loser and vice versa, getting it right makes all the difference! QTL is a much faster and a far more accurate approach than any other trend indicator.

QTL Description:

We know how important “to-the-tick” accuracy is, missing an entry by 1 tick or an exit by 1 tick can make All the difference in your P and L. That is why we aim to find the Real Trendlines with this indicator developed for Ninjatrader 8. We try to get closer to every tick possible.

Slow and Fast Trendlines

The indicator automatically finds the short term and longer term trendlines. No back plotting. We have spent countless hours finding the best cycles and levels to use for our trendlines.

Trailing Stoploss

These curves are the ideal curves to base your stoplosses on after an entry of a break of the trendlines.

Slope Values / Entries

These signals occurs when the price breaks out of the slower trendline levels. The value given is the value of the previous trendline`s slope. These values are significant. Watch them closely.

** The white lines are drawn manually to point to other lines.

QTL Plot Settings and Alerts

You can turn most of the features On or Off. All plots are configurable.

We have added some very handy audio alerts to this indicator. These alerts will “Say what you tell it to say” when the alert is triggered. Please watch the video to see how it works.

QTL Test Results

We have created a simple test to test the efficacy of this indicator. This is by no means a fully fledged strategy. We simply wanted to prove or disapprove this indicator`s value.

The test simply takes all the break outs and sell upon the next. The results implies that this indicator has an edge and can or could be used as part of a bigger strategy plan.

We have tested all the other trend indicators such as moving averages, MACD`s , RSI etc. and none could produce results like these. Any indie based on any type of average will be just that… average. This indicator passed these tests with flying colors.

Plots are customizable
It works on Renko and Heikin -Ashi but its unnecessary to use these bar type as we use custom filtering techniques to filter the data which negates the need for them.
No need to change parameter settings as the indie automatically finds the ideal values by learning from the past.
